Is sugar bad for you?

Eating or drinking too many calories, no matter the source, can contribute to weight gain or obesity. Like all food and beverages, drinks sweetened with sugar can be consumed as part of a balanced lifestyle. However, it’s important not to consume them in excess.

How much is too much sugar?

We support the current recommendation by several leading health authorities, including the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the U.S. Dietary Guidelines for Americans.
